Linda Ayentes
SALSA & BALLET
Linda was born in Bratislava, Slovakia and moved to Vancouver, Canada when she was four years old. She began training at the age of four with her step father in artistic gymnastics and continued in the sport until she became Provincial Champion at the age of 10. Linda then made the switch to Rhythmic gymnastics after seeing a local competition and falling in love with the sports beauty and grace. She began training with olympic champion, Lori Fung and Tricia Gilmore and quickly became provincial champion that same year in the novice category. Linda continued to train daily before school and later enrolled in a performing arts school that allowed her to train for half of the day and attend academic courses in the afternoon. Linda soon won a spot on the junior national team and had the opportunity to train at the olympic training center in Colorado Springs. By the age of 15 she had achieved the title of Western Canadian Champion and was a bronze medalist at the Canadian Winter Games.
It was during her time as a rhythmic gymnast that Linda was introduced to ballet, which was used as a tool to improve her skills in rhythmic gymnastics. She started ballet at a local studio and found a new love for the art. She completed Royal Academy of Dance exams with honor standings and was accepted to the National Ballet School of Canada in Toronto, Ontario for their summer program.
Soon a whole new world of different styles of dance opened up for her, jazz, hip hop, contemporary and salsa, all of which she studied in vancouver, Los Angeles and New York. She began teaching at the age of 17 and working as a dancer in the film and television industry. Linda has had the opportunity to work with stars such as Halle Berry, Sarah Jessica Parker, Benjamin Bratt, and Sharon Stone to name a few and perform in such films as Cawoman, Dudley Do Right, Saving Silverman and Man About Town. Linda's dance career has also taken her to Japan where she toured with Japan's famous singer "Anri" on her Ever Blue Tour, to the Caribbean, where she was part of the cast on the "Millennium" ship for Celebrity Cruise Lines and to the NBA as a member of the extreme dance team for the "Vancouver Grizzlies".
After winning a reality TV competition called "Making it Big", Linda made the move to Los Angeles and in 2010 and began making salsa and bachata her main focus. Ever since seeing it for the first time at the age of 16 while training in Los Angeles for the summer, she knew it was something she wanted to do and set her sights on dancing on stage with a partner one day. In December of 2011, she achieved the title of "World Latin Cup Salsa Champion" in the on 1 category in Las Vegas Nevada. She has had the privilege and joy of teaching and performing all over the US and Canada and continues to learn and grow as a performer and artist.
Currently Linda performs nationwide and teaches ballet, jazz and salsa in Los Angeles to both children and adults. She enjoys working with her students and loves to share her passion for dance. She also works as a photographer and make-up artist when she isn't in the studio.

Sheyla Cintron
S.A.L.T. (Sculpt Aerobic Lengthening Technique)
Sheyla Cintron was classically trained in ballet. After graduating high school in Puerto Rico, I went to the Hartford Conservatory and got an associate degree in nutrition essentials, Dance pedagogy and performance. While I was in Connecticut I danced with the Hartford Ballet, Connecticut Ballet and spent a summer dancing with the Bolshoi Ballet of Russia. After graduating I moved to NYC were I got a full scholarship to dance at Steps on Broadway and later on I taught beg. and int. jazz in their youth program for a few years (when I wasn’t touring). I also taught ballet in Puerto Rico and master classes to youth throughout the island.
Some dance credits include Sleeping Beauty (Diamonds), Fire bird, Paquita , West Side Story (Anybodys), Cats (Victoria) and many more. Fitness credits include certifications from NASM, Cardio Barre, TRX, flex shaper videos, Yoga works barre works, dance works and sculpt works and training hand in hand with Billy Blanks (Tae-bo) for many years.
I became certified in Pilates after getting mugged in the NYC subway and needing physical therapy for my hip. Pilates was the only thing that helped me recover quick enough to go back to dancing and also the only thing that helped correct my severe scoliosis. After that, I taught Pilates in between shows and jobs.
SALT stands for: Sculpting Aerobic Lengthening Training
A perfect blend of high and low impact exercises (with influences from Pilates, ballet, interval training, martial arts) that come together in a work-out like none out there.
Main focus: Stamina and Strength
Builds strength and stamina while developing long, lean muscles
